Quality Management

Educational and training activities are carried out in line with program learning outcomes and the needs of the industry. Assessment and evaluation processes are conducted in a transparent manner and in alignment with the defined learning outcomes.

1. Quality Policy

Ege University Cybersecurity Vocational School adopts a quality approach aimed at educating a qualified and competent workforce in the fields of information technologies and cybersecurity by closely following national and international developments. Continuous improvement, student-centeredness, transparency, and stakeholder participation are the fundamental principles guiding our education and training, research and development, and community service activities.

Our quality policy is implemented in accordance with the strategic objectives of Ege University and the principles of the quality assurance system of the Council of Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK).

2. Quality Assurance System

The quality assurance system at our Vocational School is implemented based on the Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) cycle. Educational programs, course contents, assessment and evaluation methods, and administrative processes are regularly monitored and evaluated, and improvements are made in line with the data obtained.

Quality processes are carried out in alignment with the Quality Commission of Ege University.

3. Quality Commission

The Quality Commission of Ege University Cybersecurity Vocational School is responsible for planning, implementing, and monitoring the quality assurance system. The Commission consists of academic staff, administrative staff, and student representatives, and it regularly carries out activities related to quality processes.

A. Duties of the Quality Commission

  • Ensure the establishment and effective operation of the quality assurance system

  • Coordinate the monitoring of educational and administrative processes

  • Conduct internal evaluation activities

  • Evaluate stakeholder feedback

  • Plan continuous improvement activities

  • Ensure alignment with YÖKAK and university quality policies

4. Quality in Education and Training

Educational and training activities are carried out in line with program qualifications, course learning outcomes, and the current needs of the cybersecurity field. Within the scope of a practice-oriented education approach, laboratory work, case studies, and applications conducted in cooperation with industry are prioritized.

Assessment and evaluation processes are conducted in a manner that is aligned with learning outcomes, transparent, and traceable.

5. Stakeholder Participation

In the quality processes of our Vocational School, students and academic and administrative staff are considered internal stakeholders, while public institutions, private sector representatives, graduates, and employers are considered external stakeholders.

Stakeholder feedback is collected through surveys, meetings, and feedback mechanisms and is reflected in quality improvement processes.

6. Continuous Improvement

Quality activities at the Cybersecurity Vocational School are carried out in a continuous and systematic manner. Improvement actions are planned and implemented based on internal evaluation reports, stakeholder feedback, and performance indicators.
