TEKNOFEST 2026 to Be Held in Şanlıurfa, Where History Meets the Future

The world’s largest aviation, space, and technology festival, TEKNOFEST, will be held in Şanlıurfa in 2026—a city renowned for its thousands of years of history and deep-rooted cultural heritage. Taking place at GAP Airport from September 30 to October 4, TEKNOFEST 2026 will bring science and technology together with millions at the “zero point of history,” Şanlıurfa.

With its continuously evolving competition categories, TEKNOFEST once again hosts the world’s largest award-based technology competitions. Applications for the TEKNOFEST Technology Competitions 2026, which will be organized across 52 competitions and 127 subcategories, are open until February 20.

From the Heart of History to the Minds of the Future: 52 Competitions at TEKNOFEST Şanlıurfa

At TEKNOFEST 2026, a total of 52 different competition categories will be held in a wide range of fields that attract strong interest from young participants, including the Rocket Competition, Agricultural Technologies Competition, Unmanned Aerial Vehicles Competitions, Steel Dome Air Defense Systems Competition, Artificial Intelligence in Healthcare Competition, and Secure Satellite Communications Competition.

This year, unlike previous editions, several new competitions will be opened for the first time, including the Electronic Warfare Competition, Advanced Autonomous Systems Design and Operations Competition, TEKNOFEST Mining Technologies Competition, FPV Drone Tracking Competition, and Technologies for the Benefit of Humanity Competition, offering technology enthusiasts new horizons and powerful hands-on experiences.

More Than 4 Million Dreams Turned into the Technologies of the Future Since 2018

Since 2018, TEKNOFEST has been a meeting point for innovation, production, and future-shaping ideas, hosting over 4 million applications to date. At TEKNOFEST 2026, thousands of young people from primary school to postgraduate level will have the opportunity to apply to technology competitions in various categories to transform their dreams into real-world projects.
